It takes place beneath a cherry tree, where time softens its step and the world exhales. A woman in a crimson kimono sits quietly, her gaze tender, hands resting near a flickering wisp of light — a tiny ember cradled between her palms. Before her, a white fox — soft as cloud, sharp as moonlight — watches with serene loyalty. It does not threaten. It listens. It understands.
The tree above them is in full bloom, the air thick with pink blossoms falling like blessings. Each petal spins its own story as it descends — some of joy, some of sorrow, all destined to land where they’re needed most. The bark bears three letters: HOB — not carved in haste, but pressed into the wood like a promise: to protect the quiet, to honour the still, to remember that glory isn’t always loud.
The fox leans forward. The ember glows. And around them, something eternal takes root — not in action, but in presence. No war. No victory. Just a moment so pure, so unshaken, it becomes legend on its own.
And below it all, written like a prayer carried by the petals:
